OVERVIEW
The mountains and sea combined to make Hoa Lu’s picturesque landscape. Hoa Lu lays in a flat valley surrounded by the Trang An lime stone mountains, which form a natural wall protecting the old citadel. The city’s northwest is bordered by the Hoang Long River, the tributaries of which run through the capital, cooling the weather within the city and serving as convenient waterways.
TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Hanoi arrival - transfer to Hotel in Hanoi - Hanoi city tour half day(Dinner)
Driver and tour guide welcome you up at Noi Bai Airport then transfer to Hanoi downtown.Check into hotel in Hanoi. Have a rest.
In the afternoon: We pay a visit to Sword Lake of Hanoi. The Sword Lake is really an emerald jewel of Hanoi. For generations, the Vietnamese believed that deep in the green water of the Sword Lake, there is a sacred sword of their ancestors, which is carefully safeguarded by the golden tortoise.Walking along the Sword Lake, you drop in Ngoc Son Temple and King Ly Thai To monument.
Continue to visit Temple of Literature - Vietnam's first university. It was built in 1070 in honor of Confucius, his followers and Chu Van An, a moral figure in Vietnamese education. Next destination: West Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Pagoda. Dinner in La Vong Grilled Fish Restaurant.
Evening: Free to have a walk around Hanoi Old Quarter, visit Hanoi night market spreading along the streets of Hang Dao, Hang Ngang and Hang Duong (on Friday, Saturday or Sunday) and Dong Xuan Market. Overnight in hotel in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi - Yen Tu - Halong - Tuan Chau - hotel (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Morning: 06:00 Have breakfast. Depart to Yen Tu.
09:30: Arriving in Yen Tu, you prepare offerings to incense at Trinh Temple. Get Hoa Yen Pagoda by cable car.
Arriving Hoa Yen Pagoda, you are free to incense, continue to visit Bronze Pagoda, Bao Thap Tower, Truc Lam Tam To, One Roof Pagoda, thousands of year old banyan tree...
12:30: Return to Hoa Yen for lunch and relaxing. Get on cable car to go down the mountain. Our car takes you to Ha Long.
Arriving in Ha Long, check into hotel.
In the afternoon: Visit Ha Long City freely.
In the evening: After dinner, visit Tuan Chau International Tourism Complex. You have chance to enjoy exciting shows such as water music show, performances of sea lions, dolphins and crocodiles. Overnight in Ha Long City.
Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

In the morning: Breakfast in hotel. Get on car to move to Ha Long Whalf. Have a cruise on Ha Long Bay - the World Natural Heritage. The Bay is dotted with 1,600 limestone islands and islets and covers an area of over 1,500 sqkm. Pass by the area where the scenes of the famous film “Indochina” were shot. Continue cruising towards Ha Long Bay, see famous islets such as Men’s head Islet, Tortoise Islet, Heaven Gate area, explore Surprising Cave. Visit a fishing village on the Bay.
Afternoon: Bidding farewell to Ha Long, you depart to Ninh Binh along Highway 10. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Ninh Binh.
Day 4: Hoa Lu ancient Capital - Tam Coc - Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)
Morning 07:30: You are picked up and transferred to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, which was the capital of the Dinh and Early Le dynasties in Vietnam in the 10th and 11th century. The sanctuaries were built in the 17th century. We will see the stone pedestal of a royal throne, bronze bells and statues of the Emperors.11:30: Lunch in restaurant. Have a rest and prepare for your journey in the afternoon.
13:00: Take a boat visit in Tam Coc (“three caves”) along Ngo Dong river, beginning at the village of Van Lam and proceeding through a scenic landscape dominated by rice fields and karst towers. The route includes floating through three natural caves (Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba), the largest of which is 125m long with its ceiling about 2m high above the water.
15:00: Get on land. Leave Ninh Binh for Hanoi. Tour ends!
