OVERVIEW

Halong Bay is a beautiful natural wonder in northern Vietnam near the Chinese border. The Bay is dotted with 1,600 limestone islands and islets and covers an area of over 1,500 sqkm. This extraordinary area was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. For many tourists, this place is like something right out of a movie. The fact is that Halong Bay features a wide range of biodiversity, while the surrealistic scenery has indeed featured in endless movies.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

Pick-up at Noi Bai airport, then transfer you to Hanoi Old Quarter for check-in your hotel.

Free time for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Hanoi – Phat Tich Pagoda – Halong Bay (B,L,D)

Breakfast at your hotel before depart for Halong city at 08.00am.

09:00: Visit Phat Tich Pagoda in Bac Ninh Province. Stop enroute in Hai Duong City for 20 minutes.

12:00: Upon arrival at Ha Long tourist wharf, check-in aboard. Enjoy lunch. Pass by the area where the scenes of the famous film “Indochina” were shot. Continue cruising towards Ha Long Bay, see famous islets such as Men’s head Islet, Tortoise Islet, Heaven Gate area, explore Surprising Cave.

19:00 – 21:00: Enjoy dinner then free at leisure time to do other activities such as karaoke singing and cuttle fishing,…. Overnight on the cruise.

Day 3: Halong Bay – Ninh Binh (B,L,D)

07:00: Breakfast on boat. Visit around the Bay and stop to visit Fishing Village. Free time to take photos and other activities…

11:30: Lunch at restaurant.

13:30: Depart for Ninh Binh following Highway 10.

16:30: Arrive Ninh Binh. Check in hotel. Enjoy dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 4: Hoa Lu – Trang An – Hanoi Departure (B,L)

07:00: Breakfast at hotel.

08:00: Proceed the Trip to visit Hoalu which was the capital of the Dinh and Early Le dynasties in Vietnam in the 10th and 11th century. The sanctuaries were built in the 17th century. We will see the stone pedestal of a royal throne, bronze bells and statues of the Emperors. Next place is Trang An relic complex, take boat trip to visit Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, see scenery of mountain and rivers Ha Long on land of Ninh Binh.

12:00: Lunch at local restaurant.

13:30: Back to Hanoi.

16:00: Arrive in Hanoi. Free and easy till our bus and driver will pick you up at your hotel and drive to the airport for your flight back home. End of trip!
